Drive Rivets

Drive rivets are a specialized blind rivet that are easy to install because they don’t require specialized tools. The drive rivet is set by striking the pin with a hammer, driving the pin flush with the rivet head and expanding the back side of the rivet. They’re faster than standard blind rivets to install and are commonly used in lighter duty applications like attaching plywood, installing street signs, and fastening automotive or trailer trim.

We mostly stock them in aluminum. All of our drive rivets conform to IFI Specification 123.

Head Styles

  • Universal - The standard head style, suitable for general use. 
  • Brazier - A wider, lower-profile head that distributes force across a larger surface area.
  • Countersunk - Sits flush with the installation material and is used when a smooth finished surface is required.
